We are seeking an Atlassian Administrator with hands-on experience supporting Agile teams and strong skills in metric driven accountability. While this role does not serve as a Scrum Master, the ideal candidate understands Agile, Agile ceremonies, delivery workflows, and team metrics so they can configure Jira/Confluence effectively and translate business needs into clear, insightful dashboards.

Why join this team: Our PMO is a passionate group of pragmatic, service-oriented leaders supporting high-performing teams. We are committed to clarity, quality, and continuous improvement. Your Atlassian platform work will directly improve how our teams plan, deliver, and measure outcomes that matter for educators and students.

As a Atlassian Administrator you will:
  • Administer the configuration, governance, and overall health of Jira Software and Confluence Cloud in a large, multi-program environment.
  • Design, implement, and maintain workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, notifications, and automations at scale, with clear standards and documentation.
  • Utilize Atlassian Analytics and the Atlassian Data Lake to create dashboards for leaders and teams:
    • Create meaningful KPIs and metric breakdowns using JQL, gadgets, and data models.
    • Ensure reporting aligns with real Agile practices, avoiding vanity metrics and ensuring accuracy.
    • Partner with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable dashboards.
  • Drive platform conventions that improve cross-team alignment, data quality, and reporting consistency.
  • Lead Atlassian change management with a crisp, lightweight process and clear communication so changes are safe, visible, and auditable.
  • Manage the vendor relationship and processes with Atlassian and implementation partners (e.g., support, renewals, licensing, roadmap coordination), with guidance and oversight from the PMO.

The impact you'll have:
  • Enable faster, clearer decisions with trustworthy dashboards and consistent data across programs.
  • Reduce rework and interruptions by standardizing how teams use Jira/Confluence
  • Protect data integrity and dashboards through disciplined, coordinated configuration changes.
  • Improve delivery predictability and visibility through reliable reporting, simple conventions, and disciplined change practices.

Who we're looking for:
  • 3-5+ years administering Jira/Confluence Cloud at scale (multi-project, shared configurations, controlled growth).
  • Experience using Atlassian Analytics and the Atlassian Data Lake.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master/Agile Lead in more than one organization, for multiple teams simultaneously
  • Deep configuration skills across workflows, custom fields, permission models, automations, and Marketplace app administration.
  • Proven ability to design executive-ready reporting (JQL, filters, dashboards, Analytics datasets) and translate needs into simple views.
  • Experience partnering with Security/IT on SSO, access controls, audits, and with vendors on contracts and support.
  • Clear communicator who writes concise standards, change notes, and how-to pages that non-admins can follow.
  • Familiarity with program-level planning and reporting (aligning configurations to Scaled Agile Framework PI planning, and dependency visibility).

We'd also love to see, though not required:
  • Experience in education technology or large enterprise platforms.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
