| Description of Work | The Nebraska Statewide Workforce & Educational Reporting System (NSWERS) at the University of Nebraska is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of back-end Applications Developer to assist in the development initiatives for the NSWERS organization. The back-end developer will work closely with the Assistant Director for IT applications to plan, develop, and manage web application back ends to support the goals and objectives of the organization. This includes ensuring effective and secure application operations, support and maintenance of legacy applications, development of new technical solutions, and successful application integration with NSWERS partner organizations. |
| Minimum Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of progressive experience developing application program interface (API) based Azure-deployed back-end software applications. Demonstrated competency with .NET Core Framework, LINQ, Entity Framework, and both unit and functional testing using Visual Studio. Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail. |
| Preferred Qualifications | Six years of demonstrated ability to utilize multiple application development resources for back-end application development.
