About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Details:

In-Person Tutoring in Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: 10 hours per month; 2 sessions for 1.15 hrs
Pay rate is between $25 and $35 per hour

Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with high school students with learning disabilities and active IEPs.
Strong knowledge of Geometry, Chemistry, and ELA at the high school level.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
Skilled in behavior intervention and classroom management strategies.
Ability to create structured, motivating, and individualized lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Geometry:
- Provide step-by-step instruction on core concepts such as properties of shapes, solving angle equations, and applying formulas for area, perimeter, and volume.
