Job Summary  | The Business Data Analyst performs a broad range of analytical tasks in support of strategic decision-making across the university. This position collaborates closely with campus stakeholders to design and implement data-driven solutions, offering actionable recommendations to address complex business challenges. Deliverables may include self-service reports, data extracts, dashboards, mobile-friendly tools, and data quality assessments.

This role is primarily responsible for interpreting reporting requirements and translating them into clear, actionable University business rules for the Business Support Center and other stakeholders. It also involves close collaboration with the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team to ensure a robust data foundation and consistent institutional data models that enable accurate and reliable reporting.

Key deliverables may include benchmarking against peer institutions, researching targeted topics, performing in-depth statistical analyses, and synthesizing insights for both internal and external audiences.

This position is eligible for remote work within the state of Kentucky.
