About the Position

Bellwether has an immediate opening for a Business Systems Administrator to help maintain, improve, and support the organization’s core business systems — including Salesforce, SharePoint, and Google Workspace. This manager-level role combines hands-on technical skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach and sits on Bellwether’s Central Support team. 

As Bellwether advances its strategic plan and integrates new technologies and AI tools, the Business Systems Administrator will help identify, test, and implement solutions that strengthen how we manage data, collaborate, and deliver impact.

This person will report to the Senior Manager of Business Systems and will partner closely with colleagues across functional areas to ensure Bellwether’s systems are secure, efficient, and continuously improving.

In this context, the Business Systems Administrator’s primary responsibilities and duties will be to:

Systems Administration

  • Support the overall administration, maintenance, and functionality of Salesforce, SharePoint, and other internal systems.
  • Design, build, and manage Salesforce Flows, validation rules, and automations to streamline processes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance, data integrity, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate organizational needs into system solutions.
  • Maintain and improve Salesforce reports and dashboards; support colleagues in generating and interpreting system data. 
  • Conduct regular data audits in Salesforce, SharePoint, Google Workspace, and other databases to ensure clean and high-quality data.
  • Document key configurations and workflows to ensure transparency and continuity.
  • Support the implementation of new tools and systems, including participating in research and testing. 

Technical Support 

  • Take primary responsibility for managing and resolving technical support tickets submitted by the Bellwether team, escalating to the Senior Manager and external IT support as needed.
  • Support the management of computers and hardware alongside the Senior Manager, including housing a stock of six to eight new and loaner devices.
  • Help maintain an up-to-date internal knowledge base and user guides.
  • Support Bellwether’s ongoing work to integrate AI responsibly across internal systems.
  • Stay current on emerging tools and practices related to Salesforce automation and business systems.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years administering Salesforce or similar business systems. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the following:

  • Experience administering Salesforce.
  • Experience building and maintaining Salesforce Flows and working with other automation tools.
  • The proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement practical solutions.
  • A track record of quickly learning new systems and technologies.
  • A passion for providing superb customer service and the ability to help users of all skill levels solve technical challenges.
  • The ability to identify areas for increasing the efficiency of our systems, particularly in the context of AI. 
  • Sensitivity when working with highly confidential information and the ability to maintain complete discretion at all times.
  • A well-rounded interpersonal skill set with the capacity to work well both independently and in a remote team environment.
  • A highly self-motivated work style and the flexibility and willingness to identify and take on additional projects when needed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation

The base salary range for incoming team members is $87,500–$94,000 annually, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus targeted at $5,025, based on individual and organizational success. While the final offer amount will be determined by multiple factors — including previous experience and content knowledge — and may vary from the stated range, Bellwether is committed to transparency, and all offers align with our compensation philosophy.
