About the Opportunity
As a Colleague Business Analyst Associate, your main responsibility will be to consult with end users, understand and optimize business processes and assist them in becoming more efficient and effective utilizing the Colleague ERP system, driving student success.

Where you will make an impact
  • Provide functional and technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs, processes, and reporting
  • Provide functional business process analysis and redesign assistance by partnering with customer business units and appropriately recommending efficiencies and improvements
  • Troubleshoot errors and issues encountered by end users and provide resolution to solve issue to client’s satisfaction
  • Provide on-site training and workflow sessions for Colleague Finance and HR Modules
  • Partner with manager, site TM staff, and on-site client end users to gather requirements about business process flow, application intent, functions, features, data, input, and output requirements, internal and external checks and controls, hardware and operating system environment and interfaces with other systems.
  • Create test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm program meets specifications.
  • Assist client with identifying data integration points and functional dependencies within the Colleague ERP system and / to third party systems.
  • Advise on key communication needs for Colleague modules and maintenance upgrades and provides input and direction for remote Colleague resources.
  • Work closely with project management and remote technical teams to support successful deployment of initiatives and business process analysis efforts
  • Work with the client to develop functional requirements and data mapping specifications.
  • Create and update ticket tracking system (Happy Fox) with pertinent information.
  • Write and maintain documentation of changes to business processes, knowledge base, and functional specifications using Monday.com and Confluence.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs and system integrations to enable seamless data exchange across internal and third-party platforms.

What you will bring
  • 1+ years of experience and expert functional/technical knowledge in the Colleague ERP application
  • Proven experience and strong proficiency in working with relational databases like MySQL and SQL-based systems.
  • Thorough technical knowledge in development of methodologies, design, and implementation of workflows related to Colleague.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with other web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Understanding of specialty areas such as client/server architecture, relational database design, document imaging, job scheduling, systems administration, or a combination of areas.
  • Effective skills in research and analysis, project planning, and implementation.
  • Good understanding of entire development and implementation process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors.
  • Excellent decision-making, time-management, and planning skills.
  • Customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working with clients to gather requirements for developing software.
  • Must be a self-starter and motivated to move projects forward.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a highly demanding environment.
