Job Summary 
The Senior Administrative Operations Coordinator provides high-level operational, project, and program coordination for the College of Medicine Office of Research and its team. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Research Administration, this role provides senior-level administrative oversight of office operations ensuring the effective planning, execution, and monitoring of high-impact initiatives aligned with the College’s research priorities.

The position leads complex, cross-functional projects and Office of Research–hosted activities, including faculty and research professional staff programs and college-wide research activities in alignment with the college’s strategic plan. Responsibilities include project governance, performance tracking, logistics coordination, stakeholder engagement, and post-initiative evaluation to drive continuous improvement and strengthen the Office of Research infrastructure.

This role also designs and maintains office-wide operational tracking systems, dashboards, and digital workflows to support leadership decision-making and organizational continuity using SmartSheet, REDCap, and SharePoint-based platform. Working across departments and centralized service units, the Senior Administrative Operations Coordinator ensures office administrative operations are efficient, team members have the support needed to carry out responsibilities, and initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with institutional standards—promoting a culture of service excellence, collaboration, and operational effectiveness.
