College Success Coach Full Description

Join Purdue University Fort Wayne:
We seek a full-time, on-site College Success Coach in our Admissions Administration department. This position will play a pivotal role in advancing the educational and career opportunities for 21st Century Scholars and other target populations. The annual salary for this position is $44,000.00 annually.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Implement retention programs, initiatives, and targeted communications.
  • Provide expert analysis of data related to student retention and success.
  • Maintain and update the student tracking database.
  • Develop and distribute reports on enrollment, retention, progress toward degree completion.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and serve on committees to understand barriers to retention, degree completion, and graduation.
  • Implement a summer bridge program.
  • Assist with new student orientation, admissions events.
  • Act as student liaison.
  • Participate at events for FASFA, campus visits, and other enrollment events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Required Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • 2 yrs. of experience in student success coaching, advising, or related roles within higher education.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in database management and student information systems.
  • Understanding of financial aid processes and college admission requirements.
