| Job Description Summary: | The Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University (GWSPH) is seeking a Communications Specialist position to assist in managing communication for the school. This is a senior level position that will be responsible for communication and marketing for a large and unique portfolio. The Communications Specialist will partner with the Dean and members of the executive leadership team, as well as, with the University’s central communications team. This position will be primarily responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the strategic communication and marketing plan for GWSPH and will ensure consistent communication with GWSPH’s desired image, brand and positioning throughout all communications. Responsibilities Includes:

| Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |
