As a Community Service Officer Supervisor you will: Supervise a group of Community Service Officers, Performs administrative duties Fills the CSO role when necessary. 
Subordinate officers perform a variety of public safety and community service work that does not require the enforcement authority of a sworn police officer. This position will assign, direct, monitor and evaluate the work of subordinates; conduct field observations; train and advise subordinates; compile and produce statistical and activity reports.

Minimum Required Qualifications  | High School diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience in a security related field. Ability to solve practical problems, interpret instructions, record information, understand and follow verbal and/or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, guide people and provide basic directions, and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing to coordinate schedule to meet hourly limits and department needs. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirement.
Preferred Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Two years of experience in a supervisory role with one year of supervisory experience in a security related field. Knowledge of community policing principles and objectives. Ability to speak additional languages. Knowledge and/or use of Incident Command Systems.
