Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator (temp)


Job Summary

As a member of the Corporate Communications group, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Coordinator will temporarily assist the CSR team with programs that support community relations and staff-driven charitable initiatives, including community grant management, matching fund programs, volunteer opportunities, sustainability initiatives and other philanthropic efforts. 

Our work environment is hybrid, requiring three days per week in our Natick office, with the option to work the balance at home.

Responsibilities

Program execution and administration:  

  • Address internal and external inquiries regarding MathWorks Social Mission programs including communicating with staff, nonprofit organizations and corporate partners 

  • Process staff donation matching requests and ensure required paperwork is submitted 

  • Screen grant requests, pull quarterly reports from databases, provide quarterly briefs on applications, and facilitate payments for approved grants 

  • Coordinate logistics and assist with execution of on-campus events 

  • Oversee scheduling and pick-ups for charity collection bins 

  • Coordinate volunteer opportunities for staff  

  • Manage and update on campus Social Mission bulletin boards  

Communications: 

  • Publish news and announcements to staff members via email, SharePoint, Viva Engage group forums, digital signage and other communications media, as appropriate 

  • Use approved materials and messaging to respond to routine staff and third-party inquiries 

  • Develop and revise internal Web page content 

  • Draft quarterly activity reports

Qualifications

  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through; 
  • Mature and uses sound judgment; 

  • Excellent project management and time management skills; 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 

  • Deadline-oriented and extremely organized; 

  • Proven ability to work both independently and as a team member; 

  • Comfortable working with SharePoint, Word, Excel, other Microsoft Office applications, and databases  

  • Previous experience working in an office/business environment a plus.
