Job Summary  | The CRM Business Support Analyst II will serve as a Slate CRM administrator and helps users get the most out of the system to reach the University’s enrollment goals. This position will build queries, reports, forms, and provide technical support and recommendations on best practices using Slate to help departments transition existing business practices to Slate. This position is an integral member of the CRM team and directly impacts student enrollment at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  | Serves as a Slate CRM administrator and helps users get the most out of the system to reach the University’s enrollment goals. Build queries, reports, forms, and provide technical support and recommendations on best practices using Slate to help departments transition existing business practices to Slate. An integral member of the CRM team and directly impacts student enrollment at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Provide training for Slate users and maintain internal business process documentation. Confer and collaborate with stakeholders about Slate design and maintenance needs for both academic and non-academic units at the undergraduate and graduate recruitment levels.

Minimum Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree in any field. Three (3) years of experience working in higher education, using a CRM or other technical system to reach goals or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role. Broad understanding of general database concepts and how data is structured in CRMs.

Preferred Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree or higher in management information systems, business administration or computer science, or similar. Higher education experience working with Slate (other CRM experience also valued). Previous experience building queries, reports, conducting training, and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders also preferred. SQL experience is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  | Must have considerable attention to detail. Ability to learn complicated, technical processes. Must also have experience or demonstrable understanding of how to leverage a CRM to translate data in to actionable reporting and tactics that impact enrollment. Must be able to analyze courses of action, actively participate in planning, establish and maintain good working relationships, and work independently with considerable initiative and drive. Ability to communicate technical information to a variety of stakeholders – including those with non-technical backgrounds.

Workplace and Eligibility Conditions  | Most work will be conducted in a climate-controlled indoor environment. On rare occasions, work might be required in an outdoor or remote location. Work will occur in areas where temperature changes, florescent lighting, humidity, or excessive noise may occur. Must be able to work alone or with a team, be able to use a computer and monitor screen, and be able to work in areas surrounded by other staff members.
