Position Summary Information 
Primary Purpose  | The CRM Systems Administrator II is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computing equipment and services associated with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Management of servers and hosted systems in support of business and academic processing requirements is an essential requirement of this position. The CRM Systems Administrator II is responsible for auditing applications, servers and network device security and implementing upgrades as necessary to meet University security policies and procedures. They work with existing staff to implement and troubleshoot systems and University computing services.

Essential Functions  | Application Administration: Performs software installations and upgrades to and application packages. Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains severs in accordance with established Pacific Technology policies, procedures and service level agreements (SLAs). Assists with Cloud-based deployments and ensures reliability. Provide analytical and technical programming development support for the Universities CRM systems (Service Desk Plus, CRM Advise, and Slate) and maintain strong relationships with functional clients. Monitors and tunes applications to achieve optimum levels of performance. Develops and maintains a comprehensive hardware and software configuration database and library of all supporting documents. Research and develop alternative solutions; write up programming specification and system flow charts; develop prototypes; design user friendly interfaces to systems, applications, reports, and databases; identify and document current operation procedures. Conducts hardware and software security audits of SaaS applications, servers and network electronic devices for compliance with University data security standards, policies, guidelines and procedures. Ensures data integrity by evaluating, implementing and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.  Technical Project Management: Researches, designs, and recommends enterprise systems and services utilizing commercial and open-source tools. Acts as technical project leads for multi-campus impacting projects. Interacts with University leadership to define and outline project requirements and outcomes. Develop and promote standard operating procedures:Researches and proposes improvement to the academic and business systems for the University.Fosters collaborative support among administrators of applications, servers and coordinates/documents problem resolutions. Troubleshoots service failures to University computing systems with root cause analysis and implements solutions. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications  | High School Diploma or G.E.D. Three (3) years of experience in CRM administration.

Preferred Qualifications  | Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or technology-related field. Completion of the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management within 90 working days of start of employment is required. Experience with some of the following: Extract Transform Load (ETL) tools such as Axiom Elite. Familiarity with University business operations such as admissions, registrar, or student accounts. Knowledge of web form development, and web administration. Ability to support and troubleshoot applications in a multi-vendor environment with limited supervision. Thorough understanding of SaaS, server hardware, and data center operations within an enterprise environment. Familiarity with programming and scripting languages, such as PowerShell, VBS, and Bash to automate manual administration tasks. Python and Ruby. Experience with version control systems such as git, RCS, and subversion. Ability to comfortably discuss computing topics with varying levels of personnel from student to CIO. Ability to provide solutions to integrate various disparate systems into a single service offering using existing knowledge and research. Ability to lead projects and knowledge and understanding of project management best practices. Capable of prioritizing and meeting deadlines for wide-ranging technical projects. Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion. Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:
Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment with use of computer and phone. Work performed during standard business hours, requires additional hours both evening and weekends to accommodate business needs. Schedule may be modified to meet deadlines. This position has consideration for 100% remote capability.

Valid driver’s license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University’s fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business. The University and its insurance carrier reserves the right to exclude applicants based on their driving record.
