The salary for this position will be $45,000 along with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus up to 10% of the salary.

Summary: The Career Technical Education (CTE) Workforce Readiness Coordinator supports CTE through the development of services for students participating in CTE. The position works collaboratively with administrators, student support personnel, and teachers to ensure the delivery of career technical education; facilitates linkages with parents, business/industry, postsecondary institutions, and community organizations to support students’ transition to postsecondary education and employment; and assists with ensuring program quality and compliance.

Instructional
- Assists with the support of daily operations of the CTE program
- Assists with the recruitment and retention of students in the CTE program
- Assists with activities that ensure program compliance at the school and state levels
- Collaborate with CTE program administration, other support staff, teachers, and students
- Development and implementation of program expansion and student outreach plan through cross-departmental information sessions
- Develops and facilitates career skill development workshops
- Supports student attainment of the OMJ Readiness Seal
- Develops work-based learning simulation opportunities for CTE program
- Facilitates the CTE mentoring program
- Participates in professional development activities at the local, regional, state, and national levels; Engages in professional growth opportunities to remain current with trends, demands, and emerging careers in a rapidly changing workforce
- Assists with identifying job placements for CTE pathway students
- Assists with student input for WebXams and CTSOs
- Assists with the management of program related purchase orders
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree AND
- Three (3) years of CTE experience OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
- Ability to clear required background check
DESIRED Qualifications:
- Experience as an on-line / virtual educator
