Coordinates day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of a defined, program or a set of funded activities. Programs are usually focused to a single purpose, may be educational, or service oriented, and may exist as a subset of an integrated funded program activity.
Job Description:
Position Salary Range: $42,400 - $43,888 per year; offer dependent on experience
Under general supervision, this role provides expertise in critically reviewing undergraduate transfer courses to determine course equivalencies in accordance with ASU's curriculum. May need to communicate with the ASU community through Salesforce. Academic Transfer Credit Solutions is a department within the University Provost Office.
Essential Duties:
- Reviews and verifies student transcript data for purposes of course evaluation, articulation, and general studies exceptions.
- Utilizes multiple databases to encode and verify course equivalencies.
- Assists with projects associated with course evaluations and transfer pathways.
- Assists with organizing and preparing data sets to be worked on by team members, monitoring changes in data, and assisting with transfer credit report review.
- Promotes and maintains spirit of cooperation and collaboration among team members and all other units with whom team works closely.
- Maintains internal training materials and process documentation.
- Executes a variety of office administrative activities such as investigating, evaluating and resolving problems within scope of position.
- Cross training in diverse activities to assist with the variable peak processing demands.

Working Environment:
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse (85%); frequently required to stand and walk (15%) Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds (40%) Ability to regularly change priorities to accomplish tasks with frequent interruptions Evidence of effective communication skills. Calculator, telephone, computer (monitor, keyboard and mouse), printer, fax machine and copier.
