Job Description  | Provides management and analysis of business data for use in decision-making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives. Collaborates with University leaders and the Enterprise Data team to support institution-wide data projects that inform strategic planning and enhance the student experience, with particular emphasis on international populations. This role applies data analytics and program evaluation methods to assess engagement initiatives, strengthen student services, and improve University operations.
Education and Experience  | Bachelor’s degree required. 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, program evaluation, or project coordination
Skills and Knowledge  | Demonstrated ability to design surveys, analyze results, and use data to inform decision-making. Strong analytical thinking skills with experience in statistical methods, data visualization, and reporting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and other computer applications. Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to translate data into insights for non-technical audiences. Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities  | Program and Engagement Evaluation Apply program evaluation methods to assess the impact of student engagement initiatives and University programs. Analyze student participation patterns and engagement metrics to identify trends and opportunities. Design and conduct surveys, collect feedback, and perform outcome analysis to recommend improvements for international and domestic student programs. Collaborate with campus partners to ensure that engagement strategies are data-driven and culturally responsive.   Data Analysis and Research Collaborate with the Enterprise Data team and University leaders to define research questions and analytics needs, with emphasis on international student experience and engagement. Design and administer surveys; aggregate, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources; and present results to stakeholders. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing systems, services, and processes, using data to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Integrate data from multiple functional areas, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and update data as needed. Write queries and reports to provide data for various analytical projects. Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations that communicate findings in a clear and actionable way. Process Improvement and Documentation  Partner with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for engagement-related programs and services.  Interpret data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of operational challenges, and suggest areas for process improvement.  Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure consistent reporting standards and reproducible analysis methods. Recommend adjustments to workflows and practices based on data insights.  Contribute to the adoption of best practices in data governance and data-informed decision-making. Cross-Functional Project Coordination  Assist with planning and tracking of data-related projects within ITS and across academic and administrative units.  Support team meetings, project agendas, and follow-up activities to ensure progress on deliverables.  Serve as a liaison between technical staff, analysts, and end users, helping translate requirements into actionable project tasks. Participate in cross-campus working groups to ensure data initiatives support institutional priorities.
