 Position Description 
Advertised Job Summary  | The Data and Statistical Analyst will provide comprehensive biostatistical consulting services in support of NIH-funded research. The Staff Biostatistician plays a pivotal role in the development and implementation of study designs, the execution of statistical analyses, the interpretation of research data, and the provision of advanced methodological support. In this capacity, the biostatistician works closely with investigators and research teams across disciplines, ensuring the use of rigorous, appropriate statistical methods in federally funded research projects. This role is integral to maintaining the scientific integrity and validity of research findings and to advancing biomedical, clinical, and population health studies.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications  | Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field (e.g., Public Health, Data Science, Computer Science).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  | Proficiency in one or more statistical software packages (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, Python). Strong understanding of statistical methodology and its application to biomedical, clinical, and population health research. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
