Description of Work  | This position will design and configure academic pathways in the degree management system that accurately reflect degree plans for students to use in navigating their way through their academic career. Integrate degree requirements and non-curricular activities to provide a holistic view of students’ potential path to graduation. Collaborate with the academic advising community, campus leadership, and the Office of the University Registrar’s degree management team to determine multiple paths to graduation based on students’ prior academic work and overall goals. Create and maintain approval processes for degree management stakeholders. Create degree management documentation in varying formats and training programs for administrative offices. Lead administrative workshops and work with sister institutions in delivering educational content for administrative staff to fully utilize the degree management system. Run processes and reports to ensure accuracy of academic pathway configurations. Distribute degree management reports to administrative offices and academic advising leadership to assist in the campus efforts in helping students graduate on time. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree and 1 year previous employment experience with curriculum, academic programs, or information systems; equivalent education/ experience considered. Knowledge of information systems; ability to analyze data and apply gained insights to enhance services.
Preferred Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree in MIS, education or business fields or related field. 2 years of full-time, applicable employment experience. Experience in higher education setting. Knowledge of university process helpful.
