| Job Description Summary | The Department of Theatre is hiring a Student Marketing Assistant with a flexible schedule that accommodates Chapman classes, rehearsals, and performances. This role is ideal for someone interested in and excited about learning marketing within arts administration. The position will coordinate the formatting of posters, programs and digital signage materials. This position will have a cross-collaboration with marketing, CoPA production, faculty, and occasionally guest artists and designers that needs clear communication across departments. |

| Responsibilities | ● Assist in creating and coordinating marketing materials for the Department of Theatre main stage shows, One Acts and BFA Actor Showcase. ● Create the graphics for the Ticketing site and the digital signage to promote department events. |
| Required Qualifications | ● Proficient in Canva and Google Suite, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office. ● Clear written and verbal communication skills. ● Strong attention to detail. ● Able to meet deadlines and follow up. ● Open-minded, positive, and proactive attitude to problem-solving. ● Self starter |
| Desired Qualifications | ● Strong graphic design experience, particularly in promotional posters and visuals for the arts. ● Proficient in writing and proofreading with a strong eye for clear and consistent page layout design. ● Knowledge of digital document accessibility requirements and setup. ● Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud ● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. ● Confident, professional communication skills between peers as well as faculty/staff. ● Willingness to learn new tools and take initiative on projects. |
