DevOps Engineer II Full Description

The DevOps Engineer II is responsible for supporting and optimizing the development, deployment, and operations of our software systems. You will work closely with our development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability across our systems. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in DevOps and cloud technologies.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist in the development, deployment, validation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines by leveraging Gearset, ensuring automated software delivery and infrastructure management meets quality standards before release.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are properly configured, deployed, and monitored in sandbox and production environments.
  • Help automate repetitive tasks and streamline development processes, including monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across multiple environments, ensuring uptime and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain system and application monitoring and alerting tools to detect and resolve issues proactively within our DevOps Platform.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and help troubleshoot critical production incidents.
  • Assist in maintaining security best practices such as secure environments, pipelines, and data privacy.
  • Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for operational transparency and knowledge sharing

What You Should Have: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Salesforce, AWS, Azure) and infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology of development.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Nice to Haves: 
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.

The pay range for this position is $94,200 to $141,400 for all US locations. Articulate takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
