What We’re Looking For:
The Regional Sales Director should be dynamic and results driven. Their focus is to lead our B2B sales team within the regional market. This role is responsible for driving regional revenue growth, accelerating new business acquisition, and improving overall sales efficiency and pipeline performance. In this role, one should demonstrate strategic thinking and hands-on leadership to drive urgency and develop a collaborative, high-performing sales team.

The Regional Sales Director is accountable for executing our go-to-market strategy within a specific region, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives while delivering against aggressive sales targets. Furthermore, this role is focused on fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centric selling - partnering closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and Product.

Success in this role means not only meeting or exceeding revenue goals but also scaling a motivated, empowered, and well-coached sales organization that consistently delivers.

This person will report to the Vice President, Enterprise Sales and will work closely with the other Sales Directors and Leaders to increase sales and maximize deal closing efficiency globally.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
  • Driving Revenue Growth 
    • Deliver on regional quarterly and annual sales targets  
    • Manage pipeline health and forecast accuracy  
    • Optimize territory planning and account coverage  
    • Identify and support with closing high-impact, strategic deals  
  • Team Performance & Development 
    • Coach and develop sales reps through regular 1:1s and deal reviews  
    • Hire, onboard, and retain top talent  
    • Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and performance  
    • Align rep goals with broader sales objectives  
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration 
    • Partner with Marketing on regional campaigns and lead gen  
    • Work with Customer Success to ensure long-term client outcomes  
    • Collaborate with RevOps on tooling, territory planning, and reporting  
    • Provide product feedback to internal teams based on client insights  
  • Strategic Planning & Execution 
    • Analyze regional trends and competitive landscape  
    • Develop and refine go-to-market strategy for the region  
    • Align regional strategy with national/global sales objectives  
    • Drive initiatives to improve win rates and shorten sales cycles  

Things That Should Be In Your Background:
  • Minimum required business degree or relevant related postgraduate qualification
  • Minimum 8 - 12 years account executive or account management experience in a B2B environment - preferably SAAS technologies; IT; or online education
  • Experience dealing with, and successfully influencing high level executives
  • Ability to multitask, manage projects and work under pressure
  • Experience in team leadership, management and/or coaching
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, negotiation skills and creativity
  • New business development experience
  • Account Management experience
  • Excellent presentation: verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic data analysis skills
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally
  • Drivers license
  • Direct Reports: 3 - 9

While this position is open to remote candidates across the U.S., we will prioritize those who live in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area and who are available to come into our Headquarters in Arlington, VA two to three days a week.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($147,000 - $169,000), with potential bonus eligibility.  Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
