Director, IT Project Management Full Description

Curriculum Associates is hiring a Director, IT Project Management to lead and oversee planning, execution, and delivery of internal-facing IT projects across the company's ecosystem of business systems, custom applications, infrastructure, AI tools, and data.

Responsibilities

Oversees the IT project portfolio, ensuring successful delivery through planning, resource management, and risk mitigation
Leads, develops, and manages a global team of IT project managers spanning India and the US
Establishes and enforces hybrid project management methodologies, best practices, and governance frameworks
Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards
Collaborates with IT leadership and business units to define project priorities, objectives, and success metrics
Drives process optimization and implements tools, including AI and automation, to improve project execution

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in IT project management, including at least 5 years leading project management organizations
3+ years of experience leading, developing, and mentoring a global team
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred)
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (JIRA, SmartSheet)
PMP or other project management certification preferred
