As Director, Marketing Solutions (Student Success), you will serve as a strategic leader, responsible for defining and executing the long-term vision and strategy for student retention and success initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep operational experience, capable of deploying innovative technology solutions and optimizing scalable student success coaching models.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing Solutions, you will collaborate extensively across analytics, technology, product marketing, call center operations, and student success teams to drive impactful, sustainable outcomes. Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver measurable improvements in student retention through strategic leadership, technological innovation, and cross-functional alignment.
You’ll be joining at a pivotal time—with the opportunity to shape foundational work on retention and other high-impact solutions across the student journey. You won’t just make recommendations—you’ll own the outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Retention & Student Success Vision and Strategy:
· Develop and execute a long-term student retention and success strategy aligned with Risepoint’s business objectives.
· Establish robust KPIs and measurement frameworks to evaluate initiative effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Student Success Center (SSC) Model Development:
· Lead the design, scaling, and operationalization of effective and scalable SSC processes and workflows.
· Work with SSC leadership to develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and performance management frameworks to ensure operational excellence.
Technology Solutions & Innovation:
· Identify, evaluate, and oversee the implementation of advanced technology solutions (AI-driven tools, omnichannel engagement platforms) to enhance student retention and success.
· Ensure effective integration of new technologies within existing operational frameworks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
· Partner with analytics, product marketing, call center, and IT teams to ensure alignment of retention initiatives with broader strategic goals.
· Influence key stakeholders, ensuring shared accountability and effective execution of retention strategies.
Change Management & Process Improvement:
· Lead organizational change management associated with strategic retention initiatives.
· Establish and refine durable, repeatable processes to support ongoing success and scalability of retention strategies.

What You’ll Need For Success
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Professional experience:
· Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience in customer experience, retention, and operational strategy.
· Proven track record of scaling operational models and implementing innovative technological solutions.
· Preferred: Experience in the higher education or edtech sector
Skills & Attributes:
· Demonstrated excellence in building a strategic vision and translating into executed programs with significant, measurable outcomes.
· Exceptional conceptual problem-solving skills, adept at dissecting highly complex challenges to uncover root causes and develop impactful solutions.
· Advanced project management skills, able to expertly manage multiple priorities and high-stakes stakeholders simultaneously.
· Data-fluent; proven ability to structure complex analyses, interpret nuanced data, and define meaningful performance metrics.
· Customer-obsessed, with extensive experience designing and optimizing end-to-end student journeys.
· Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities, adept at influencing and aligning senior leadership and operational teams.
· Comfortable navigating high ambiguity, dynamic environments, and managing competing strategic priorities.
