Job Summary
Maysville Community and Technical College is currently seeking a full time, 12 month, term contract position for a Director of Workforce Solutions for our Maysville campus. This position provides leadership as well as program development, delivery, and oversight in the areas of community partnerships and economic development, as well as effectively manages resources while providing the highest level of quality and service to our constituent population.
Job Duties:
•Responsible for the overall management of the Workforce Solutions Department.
•Researches, develops, and oversees implementation of programs to meet the needs of the service area.
•Provides leadership to develop and sustain initiatives, community programs, and partnerships, which promote workforce and economic development.
•Develops and oversees the department’s budgets and contractual commitments.
•Supervises exempt and non-exempt staff within the department.
•Contributes and serves on college leadership committees.
•Provides strong commitment to the College and KCTCS mission.
Will require travel between campus locations: Maysville, Rowan, Licking Valley, and Montgomery.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience; Masters degree preferred.
Master’s degree (Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field) and three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree; 2-4 years of Management/Supervisory/Team lead experience; 3-5 years in the job field.
