  • Must have experience with omnichannel automation campaign execution and management.
  • Proficient in Salesforce automation and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey automation, with at least 2 years of experience; Salesforce certifications preferred.

Director, Student Success Performance Full Description

Risepoint assists primarily regional universities in increasing their access and impact by making their academic programs available to students online. Student Experience is a cross-functional team within the Student Success Center (SSC) dedicated to enhancing every student interaction after lead generation. The Student Experience team collaborates with key stakeholders to develop omni-channel engagement strategies that blend automation with agent-led support, deliver functional training for all student-facing roles, implement scalable tech enablement solutions, and drive performance and insights through a partner-centric approach.

Job Summary

The Director, Student Success Performance serves as the strategic integrator and cross-functional translator for the Student Success Center's (SSC) ecosystem across Risepoint's pod model.  This role ensures seamless performance alignment, data transparency, and operational cohesion across partners, internal teams, and student-facing initiatives. As Risepoint continues to evolve its operating model, this role will be instrumental in driving vertical integration and optimizing student outcomes through data-driven collaboration and pilot innovation.                

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Ensure SSC performance data and metrics are visible, integrated, and discussed consistently across pods by reporting and connecting insights to decision-making.
  • Track and share partner-level and cross-functional trends in conversion and retention metrics.
  • Monitor engagement and retention pipeline and persistence health.  Facilitate correction actions with pod leaders as needed.
  • Surface emerging risks, bottlenecks or performance anomalies to Marketing and SSC leadership with recommendations for corrective actions.

Operational & POD Alignment:

  • Coordinate new partner and program launches within the POD with SSC teams.
  • Ensure readiness and alignment of student support infrastructure for new initiatives from the SSC perspective.
  • Serve as the POD owner and accountable leader for student and/or partner facing pilots between PODs and SSC teams.
  • Facilitate feedback loops and performance tracking for pilot initiatives.
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement efforts across SSC teams.

      

Operational Oversight

  • Operates as the primary point of contact between the Marketing PODs and the SSC.
  • Uses expertise in marketing and performance management to share insights across the organization and make recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Represent SSC in POD meetings, surfacing insights, readiness issues and risk updates.
  • Collaborate across departments to share insights, trends and operational learnings to improve overall student experience.
  • Ensure bi-directional communication related to performance, readiness, partner needs and priorities.
  • Create and update tools that ensure alignment of goals across the departments (dashboards, reports, presentations, playbooks, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree

Business, Marketing or Related Field

Experience Level

5+ Years Experience in a management or direct team lead position, with a strong working knowledge of performance and operations management.

Experience in omnichannel automation campaign execution and management.

2+ years of experience with Salesforce automation (Flows) administration and troubleshooting, with Salesforce certification preferred.

2+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journey automation, including Email Journey builds, API/Direct Connect, data extension configuration, segmentation, Einstein, and reporting; Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification
