Department SummaryThe Enrollment Partnerships Department at UNT builds strategic collaborations with K-12 schools, community colleges, and other organizations to create clear pathways and pipelines to the university. These partnerships are designed to support student success from early engagement through degree completion, expanding access to higher education and strengthening academic transitions across educational institutions.
Position OverviewThe Director of Transfer Partnerships is responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing strategic partnerships between colleges, universities, and other organizations to facilitate seamless student transfer pathways. This leadership role focuses on increasing transfer enrollment and student success by creating innovative transfer partnerships, improving transfer processes, creating academic transfer pathways, and fostering strong relationships with partner institutions.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and five years of direct experience with higher education partnerships, transfer initiatives, or academic transfer advising; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.Extensive knowledge of Texas rules and regulations, particularly regarding curriculum and transfer.Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, data analysis, and presentation skills.Depth of knowledge in enrollment, academic advising, accreditation standards, student services, and student development.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic relations with colleagues, coworkers, and partners.Strong planning and decision-making capabilities.Ability to work effectively within a complex organizational structure.

Job Duties:Provides strategic leadership, planning and operational oversight of co-enrollment partnerships, serving as the point of contact between partners and UNT.Collaborates to deliver engaging pre- and post-transfer experiences for community college students through transfer partnerships.Builds and maintains collaborative working relationships to develop partnership initiatives and support existing partnerships that contribute to enrollment and success goals.Collaborates in the development and ongoing review of guided pathways and articulation agreements that enhance the academic experience and increase completion. Collaborates with SAVP to identify and develop strategic enrollment partnerships and draft partnership agreements that contribute to desired enrollment goals.Advocates for transfer-friendly policies and practices to reduce barriers for students during the transfer process and disseminates transfer resources to enhance the transfer experience. Compiles reports and utilizes data-driven approaches to evaluate outcomes and assess the effectiveness of enrollment partnerships, identifies areas for improvement, and implements strategies for continuous enhancement.
