Job Summary  | The Human Development Institute (HDI) at the University of Kentucky is Kentucky’s Center on Disability.

HDI is seeking to fill a Disability Program Specialist II/RISE position. This position is through a contract within DBHDID and will work on the 1915i Recovery Independence Support Engagement (RISE) initiative.

This Disability Program Specialist II/RISE position will work as an 1915(i) Assessor. The position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide individual assessments and other supports to the 1915i RISE initiative and its participants. Promote development of quality services for individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) or Substance Misuse or Use (SMU)/ Substance Use Disorder (SUD) diagnoses. 
Regular work-related travel is a requirement of this position.
