Job Summary  | The Human Development Institute (HDI) at the University of Kentucky is Kentucky’s Center on Disability.

HDI is seeking to fill a Disability Program Specialist II/SCL position. This position is through a contract within Kentucky DBHDID Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DDID) and will work with the Supports for Community Living (SCL) waiver program.

This Disability Program Specialist II/SCL position will work as a Technical Assistant Quality Administrator (TAQA). The position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provide on-site technical assistance to Supports for Community Living (SCL) agencies to improve the quality of services provided to waiver participants Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned providers 
Assist with certification reviews and utilization/billing reviews when needed
Monitor Plan of Correction implementation
Conduct follow-up for complaints
Complete investigations as assigned
Work collaboratively within a team structure Complete required documentation
Travel throughout Louisville, KY and surrounding counties is required.
