Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Program Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing various aspects of our graduation program, with a focus on helping students achieve Industry Recognized Credentials and guiding them on graduation pathways

 START DATE: ASAP 25/26 School Year
Residency Requirement: State of Ohio resident
Certificates and License: 
  • Must hold a valid Ohio license, such as an Ohio Teaching License, Pupil Services License, or School Counseling License. The school may accept other Ohio educator credentials that meet state regulations and are suitable for work in student academic support roles.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Program Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing various aspects of our graduation program, with a focus on helping students achieve Industry Recognized Credentials and guiding them on graduation pathways

Essential Functions:
• Industry Recognized Credentials (IRCs): Monitor and oversee students' progress towards obtaining Industry Recognized Credentials, ensuring they are on track to meet program requirements.
• Graduation Pathway Counseling: Provide comprehensive graduation pathway counseling to students, assisting them in charting their academic journey and aligning it with their future career goals.
• Future Goal Alignment: Collaborate with students to align their chosen graduation pathways with their long-term career aspirations, offering guidance and support to help them succeed.
• Additional responsibilities and tasks pertaining to enhancing and maintaining engagement, promoting academic progress, and facilitating successful graduation.

Evaluation:
Performance will be evaluated by the assigned administrator in accordance with the district's employee evaluation framework. Evaluation criteria will include the coordinator's effectiveness in supporting students' progress toward graduation requirements, the accuracy and timeliness of credential tracking, the quality of graduation pathway counseling provided, communication and collaboration with students and staff, and adherence to all school policies and professional standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 or more years in education experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in education program coordination or counseling.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Industry Recognized Credentials and graduation pathway options.
