Education Training Specialist - Learning & Development (Days)

Job Description
The Learning & Development Specialist will work directly with the Manager of Learning & Development to create, develop, implement and maintain a wide variety of staff development courses. This includes online courses as well as instructor-led courses. The Specialist will also be responsible for collaborating with designated leaders enterprise-wide in the development of specific job-related training and education.
 
Required Knowledge & Skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree
 
Experience: Four years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Will consider Associates Degree and five or more years of experience in lieu of Bachelors.
 
Minimum of two years' experience in a corporate training environment required. Experience in healthcare environment preferred.
 
Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, medical staff and public
 
Ability to present information and respond to questions from employee, managers or other customers.
 
Knowledge of instructional design techniques and adult learning theory
 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 
Experience as an administrator of a learning management system strongly preferred
 
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and proficient knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
 
Excellent planning and organizational skills
 
Ability to function independently, as part of a team and under supervision
 
Strong commitment to providing the highest level of customer service and to continuously improving efforts to meet and exceed customer expectations
