Advertising/Posting Title  | Educator Preparation Programs Support
Posting Summary  | Serve as an integral part of the Department of Education (DOE) team that ensures students in educator preparation programs have diverse and instructive field placements and meet all requirements to become licensed teachers. Provide administrative support to the directors of educator preparation programs, including tracking students’ matriculation through programs and maintaining records with sensitive information within the framework of departmental and University guidelines. Support the department with licensure tracking and accreditation data gathering strategies for undergraduate and graduate licensure programs. Serve as liaison to community partners, respond to inquiries, and coordinate logistics for events with students, faculty, staff, and outside constituents. Provide DOE faculty with logistical travel arrangements and purchasing of supplies for their teaching and research. Embrace and advance the values of Our Common Ground: Respect, Integrity, Innovation, Openness, Jusitce, and Responsibility.  Provide a welcoming enviorment for students, their families, and community partners.  This is an in-person, full-time 10-month position. 

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)  | Associate’s degree in related area and one to three years related experience required. Proficiency with office software applications including word processing, spreadsheet and meeting applications required. Ability to adapt to evolving technology to enhance office operations required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills and the ability to remain flexible and calm while prioritizing different tasks required to meet the different deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications  | Experience providing support to faculty working in a college desirable.Proficient with such as Microsoft Office (Strong Excel skills), Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Zoom. Basic graphic design or the ability to develop such skills.
