We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Enterprise Applications Administrator to join our dynamic Enterprise Applications team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about optimizing and supporting critical business applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 
In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of core enterprise systems, including NetSuite, OpenAir, Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Slack, and other key platforms used across the organization. 

Your work will go far beyond traditional system support. You’ll play a vital role in driving workflow automation and AI-powered solutions, leveraging tools like Microsoft Copilot or other enterprise LLM based assistants to streamline processes across IT, Finance, HR, and Operations.   

You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, cross-functional IT teams, and external partners to deliver high-impact solutions that align with evolving business needs. This position offers significant growth potential in cloud application management, AI-driven automation, and solution design—ideal for someone eager to expand their technical capabilities while making a measurable impact. 

How will I make an impact?

  • System Administration: Administer and maintain enterprise applications ensuring optimal performance, security, and user accessibility. 
  • User Support: Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for application-related issues, responding to incident tickets and service requests from internal users. 
  • Process Documentation: Develop and maintain system documentation, process workflows, and user guides for applications, ensuring clear and accurate information is available for end users and stakeholders. 
  • User Access Control: Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions, ensuring proper access control within systems.  Working knowledge of Okta, Azure, AD or similar for user authentication and provisioning. 
  • Testing and Upgrades: Support testing, upgrades, and deployments of application enhancements, working closely with other admins, developers, and external vendors. 
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with Service Managers, Devs, and other teams to understand business needs, propose solutions, and deliver application improvements that align with organizational goals. 
  • Incident Management: Assist with troubleshooting and resolving system errors, providing timely updates, and following up with relevant parties to resolve incidents effectively. 
  • API & Integration Experience: Experience using middleware tools to connect systems.  Knowledge of REST/SOAP API usage for data exchange or automation. 
  • AI & Automation: Familiarity with AI-powered tools like Microsoft Copilot, Atlassian Intelligence, NetSuite Intelligence Cloud or Slack AI.     

What you’ll bring to the role:

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in an enterprise application support or administrator role, working with business systems like NetSuite, Dayforce, Jira, Slack or similar platforms.  Demonstrated experience with Copilot or other enterprise LLM based assistants. 
  • Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with cloud-based applications and system administration. 
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, JavaScript) is a plus. 
  • Experience with integration tools like Azure Functions, or Data Factory is desirable but not required. 
  • Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively. 
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to a fast-changing environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience administering multiple enterprise applications simultaneously. 
  • Basic understanding of data flows, data integrations, and troubleshooting integration issues. 
  • Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira. 
  • Knowledge of IT best practices related to security, data management, and system performance. 

The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry. As part of the total compensation at D2L the role may be eligible for additional benefits including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, Variable Incentive, and more.

Base Salary Range
$70,500—$86,500 CAD
