Job Description:
The Senior Financial Aid Administrator at Purdue Indianapolis provides comprehensive support to prospective and current students, parents, and campus partners across registration, financial aid, and bursar billing. Serving as the first point of contact, this dynamic, student-centered role delivers proactive problem-solving and guidance on a variety of financial and enrollment matters. Responsibilities include analyzing student accounts, counseling students on financial aid options, and resolving complex questions related to bursar and registrar issues. The role in this collaborative office environment manages document submissions between departments and communicates updates to both current and prospective students. Success in this position requires exercising high professional judgment, maintaining confidentiality, and performing independently with minimal supervision.

What We Are Looking For:
Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 4 years in one or more of the following financial aid, bursar, registrar or relevant experience such as client services or financial services.
Skills needed:
- Excellent analytical and counseling skills.
What is helpful:
- Experience with automated systems, knowledge of federal and state financial aid policies and regulations, and/or Bursar/Registrar experience
preferred.
