RCC seeks applicants for the Financial Aid Outreach Technician position. This is a full-time, restricted classified position, currently grant-funded through September, 2028. Continuation of the position is contingent upon funding. RCC has an excellent benefits package, and the anticipated salary range will be commensurate with experience and will not exceed $42,000.
Reporting to the Financial Aid Coordinator, The Financial Aid Outreach Technician will provide financial aid education and outreach, financial aid counseling and information assistance, and help students who are on financial aid warning or suspension. The incumbent will plan and provide training on financial aid processes to high school students, college students, parents, faculty and staff. This position will provide accurate and complete information about all financial aid programs and veterans affairs benefits to interested students, parents, high school counselors, and other colleges and agencies, with a specific focus on helping students from historically economically disadvantaged parts of our service region. The incumbent will also review and assist students with completing required forms. This position is located on our Warsaw campus and will require some outreach and education to be done in the evening and weekend hours.
