How will I make an Impact?
At D2L, we are looking for developers who will help us advance our goal of using technology to transform teaching and learning around the world. We need software developers to work on a wide range of technologies including, but not limited to: distributed systems, user interfaces, mobile and cloud computing. As a developer, you will help make dreams a reality.
We are looking for software developers who have a passion for technology and code. Beyond code, developers are expected to collaborate closely with others including technical product managers, designers and QA. Your ideas and perspectives are essential to making sure we are building the right things.
Working on our front-end web platform team, you will be building responsive, accessible, and design-forward features, with a focus on Web Components, that power user experiences across our platform. We focus on engineering excellence in the browser, ensuring that our components are performant, scalable, and adhere to modern standards in accessibility and responsive design. While the role centres on front-end development, weâre looking for software engineers with a strong understanding of full-stack principles. This means going beyond visual implementation to consider architecture, data flow, and integration with backend systems. Success in this role requires a solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals, including component abstraction, state management, and testing strategies
