Description of Job Duties | The Graduate Assistant for the Center for Social Impact supports the Center’s mission to build a more just and equitable democracy by assisting with programming, event planning, communications, marketing, and outreach. Responsibilities include collaborating on the Center’s programming and initiatives, coordinating logistics for programs and events, managing calendars and outreach, and designing marketing materials to promote initiatives across campus and the community. The ideal candidate is committed to working toward an equitable democracy, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

Job Qualifications | Enrollment in a North Central College graduate program and in good academic standing
Commitment to social impact, civic engagement, and advancing equity
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with digital communication and marketing tools (e.g., Canva, social media platforms)
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and community partners
Flexibility and creativity in a mission-driven environment
