Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | GIS Analyst will identify, process, and manage diverse geospatial data to support a variety of environmental assessment and coastal habitat mapping efforts.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications | 1) Masters degree in geography, geoscience, or closely related field. 2) Knowledge of coastal habitats and habitat mapping of the Southeastern US
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro and the application of spatial analytical methods. Demonstrated experience in remote sensing cartography, image analysis techniques, use of multispectral and LiDAR data (collected from satellite, aerial and/or UAS platforms), and geospatial project coordination.
