Admission Representative Full Description

As an admission representative, you will report directly to the assistant director of enrollment events and programs to identify and recruit top-quality students across all university locations and market segments. You will build of a network of teachers, counselors, students, parents, and alumni through prospect outreach and LiveAgent coverage. Responsibilities include assistance with on-campus initiatives such as daily tours, prospective student meetings and presentations, and portfolio counseling to encourage applications and enrollment, and proactive communication to provide information about university visits and educational interests. Among other duties, you will follow up with visitors to answer all questions about the university and admission process to ensure the completion of applications from right-fit students. To maximize outreach efforts, you will use the university’s web chat tool, LivePerson account, and website.

In this role, you will actively participate in admission training sessions and stay updated on university policies, events, accolades, and programs by monitoring SCAD resources. Other responsibilities include building partnerships with admission advisers to engage them in recruitment activities and consistently providing feedback to leadership. Additionally, you will assist with university events such as SCAD Days, pre-college programs, and other initiatives. You may also travel to school-specific events, information sessions, and other recruitment activities throughout the year to allow for institutional and personal growth. Other duties may be assigned at any time to prepare talented students for professional careers, emphasizing learning through individual attention in a positively oriented university environment.

Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Available for a Tuesday–Saturday schedule
  • Ability to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SCAD 

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
  • Valid driver’s license

Travel required: 
  • 10–20%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
