Pay Range Information | Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage.
Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary | Graduate Programs Representative of EMBA Recruitment will lead all aspects of recruit for the EMBA & Flex MBA programs for the Argyros College of Business and Economics to ensure that recruitment targets are met. In consultation with the Dean, they will design the recruitment strategies for creating a pipeline of prospective students. They will identify prospects. And assist with securing deposits. They represent the EMBA and Flex MBA programs for Argyros College at recruiting events. A successful candidate will have an MBA, a proven track record of sales and sales leadership, preferably in the recruitment or higher education sectors. This position reports to the Dean of Argyros College of Business and Economics.
Responsibilities | Graduate Program Recruiting: Ensures that enrollment targets are met for EMBA & Flex MBA Programs of Argyros College. Create recruitment tactics, closing strategies, and innovative recruitment techniques. Update systems, processes, and databases to guide student recruitment efforts. Coordinates online marketing strategies and tactics in consultation with the Dean. Develops compelling messaging and an effective communication strategy in collaboration with the Dean.
Required Qualifications | MBA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 4 to 5 years of specialized and relationship-based sales and/or recruiting experience with proven track record of achieving goals. Experience working with digital marketing strategies. Able to develop, plan and achieve short and long-range goals. Able to learn, interpret and apply guidelines and university and department procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to evaluate data, assess alternatives and make appropriate decisions/recommendations. Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrates tact and diplomacy, maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Technical skills to learn and use enterprise systems and department tools. Experienced working in a professional environment with strong Microsoft Office skills/comfort.
Desired Qualifications | Experience with higher education or professional recruitment. Working knowledge of Chapman University graduate programs.
