Stride, a K12 company, is hiring a High School Art Teacher for West Virginia Virtual Academy (WVVA), a partner school providing families with a high-quality, personalized online education. The teacher delivers course content in an online environment, working from home while occasionally traveling for school functions.

Essential functions:

Provide rich, engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students
Personalize learning and differentiate instruction based on each student's level of mastery
Maintain the grade book, monitor student progress, and alert administrators to concerns
Establish and maintain positive rapport with families, communicating regularly with students and learning coaches
Prepare students for high-stakes standardized testing
