Job Description
Job Duties
  • Configures, enhances, and supports various Workday modules including HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, and Benefits.
  • Maintains and administers Workday security groups, foundational tables, and Workday inbound and outbound HCM integrations.
  • Partners closely with leaders, business, and support teams to understand system end-user needs and provide recommendations to keep Workday business processes simple and efficient. Communicates system related enhancements, releases, and upgrades.
  • Conducts continuous improvement projects, such as improving Workday processes, workflows, integrations, and data integrity.
  • Ensures accuracy and integrity of organizational data within the HCM.
  • Manages Workday releases and updates, which includes researching functionality, conducting testing, and communicating options for changes or enhancements, as applicable.
  • Provides end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance, and escalation management, using ticketing or tracking systems. Monitors recurring issues, system, or process gaps and proactively identifies potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.
  • Assists with broadening internal knowledge of Workday through job aids and other training materials.
  • Regularly supports People & Talent initiatives and projects by researching technology solutions and executing deliverables on time.
  • Works closely with other team members to brainstorm, strategize, and complete ad hoc requests creatively, effectively, and efficiently.

KSAs
  • Knowledge of HR systems maintenance and support, including the execution of system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) and system testing.
  • Practical knowledge of verifying data for import into systems or for use in reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
  • Detail-oriented thinker, exhibiting strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be a team player that contributes valuable ideas and feedback and can be counted on to meet commitments.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within People & Talent, as well as effectively interact with other departments.
  • Effective listening, written, and verbal communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3 years of Workday related experience, including supporting Onboarding, Performance and Talent, and/or Security.
  • Experience with configuring and maintaining HRIS/HCM systems.
  • Experience managing HRIS projects including implementations, functionality enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Workday Pro Certification (HCM, Studio, Integrations, Core Connectors, etc.)
  • PHR or SHRM-CP Certification
