Job Description 
Central Virginia Community College is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. CVCC is a comprehensive two-year institution of higher education with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students in occupational/technical programs and university-parallel/college transfer programs.

This position will work with a variety of complex HR topics. Position is primarily responsible for the design, development, and delivery of a full range of customer focused institutional training programs. Position will provide guidance in all HR program areas to managers and employees including recruitment and selection. The ideal candidate will facilitate, and conduct training in related areas, develop and interpret policy, and maintain appropriate records. This position will also compile and administer Adjunct payroll processes including additional pay and update Excel/SharePoint files for each Cardinal/HCM pay date.

Special Assignments  | May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications  | Significant experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Exceptional knowledge of Excel is beneficial for this role.
