Job Description

Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Stevens Point, WI - Corporate Office
Starting Salary: $22.11 hourly ($45,988.80 annualized)

Join the dynamic HR team at Skyward, Inc.! We are on the lookout for an exceptional Human Resources Coordinator.  
As an HR Coordinator at Skyward, Inc., you will assist with the administration of day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department.   

What You’ll Do:  

  • Support HR Operations: Dive into the daily operations of our HR department, from maintaining employee records and handbook to assisting with open enrollment (and everywhere in between). 
  • Recruitment & Pre-boarding: Play a role in bringing in qualified hires by assisting the HR Partner with posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a seamless pre-boarding experience for new hires through verification of paperwork, data entry, system setup, and pre-employment screenings. 
  • Compliance & Reporting: Keep us on track by completing annual EEO filings, tracking employee metrics, and maintaining compliance with employment laws. 
  • Employee / Manager Support: Tackle employee and manager questions relating to employment, policies, and procedures.  Use your creativity to design and maintain engaging HR SharePoint pages that make important information and resources easily accessible and enjoyable to navigate.   

What It Takes:  

  • 1-2 years previous HR experience, or a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.  
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Service-oriented mindset.  
  • Must be friendly and approachable.  
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of personalities in an honest and open manner.  
  • Displays a sense of urgency.  
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt quickly.  
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.  
  • Computer proficient.
