Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience  | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and at least 8 years of job related experience, including some prior management experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials  |
Preferred Qualifications  | Prior management experience. Experience with PeopleAdmin and HCM PeopleSoft.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  | Expertise in two or more of the following HR areas: recruitment and selection, employee relations, benefits, retirement, salary administration or HRIS. Broad-based knowledge of management and organizational concepts and ability to be an effective HR consultant in all phases of strategic HR initiatives.

Job Duty  | Directs the USCB Human Resources staff at three USCB campuses in the implementation of strategic comprehensive HR initiatives in state and federal (ADA, FMLA and I-9/eVerify) compliance programs, classification and compensation, recruitment and selection process, new hire on-boarding process, PEBA benefits administration, employee assistance program (EAP), background and drug screening procedures, off-boarding procedures, reconciliation and monitoring leave administration process, time management, workers compensation reporting, employee relations files and EES online retirement system benefits.
