The Position  | Applications are currently being accepted for a Confidential Human Resources Technician in the Employee Relations department, located within in the People, Culture, and Technology Services Division at the District Office. Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department’s needs.

Desired Qualifications  | - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues regarding bargaining.
- Experience with interpretation of contracts, handbooks, collective bargaining agreements, and California Education Code in a higher education institution.
- Experience in human resources, preferably within performance management, professional development, classification, and/or employment law
- Experience providing analytical and technical expertise and advice to administrators, faculty and employees in the interpretation of collective bargaining and meet and confer agreements.
- Experience working collaboratively with bargaining unit representatives, administrators, faculty and employees.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to proofread complex documents.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate issues related to Employee Relations.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM, Maxient, and Qualtrics a plus.
