IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a skilled illustrator and graphic designer to join our curriculum team. In this role, you will work closely with IXL curriculum designers to create engaging images for online learning materials.

This is a remote, 1099 consulting role for three months with a possible extension.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Create visually appealing illustrations with a stylized, graphic-novel approach for Rosetta Stone’s Foundations product
Maintain visual consistency and ensure adherence to style guidelines
Effectively manage multiple illustration projects under tight deadlines
Revise images based on feedback from curriculum designers

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong craftsmanship and illustration skills with a keen eye for design
The ability to create engaging, clean, raster images using a stylized, graphic-novel approach is a must
The ability to create kid-friendly, flat vector artwork is a plus
Experience as an illustrator/graphic designer for online content, preferably in an education-related field
Proficiency with Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop (Illustrator is a plus)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly through sketches, verbal communication, and written formats
Excellent attention to detail and strong organization skills
Proven ability to manage multiple design requests efficiently and meet deadlines
