Choice Hotels has an exciting new opportunity as our Instructional Design, eLearning Developer in the SkyTouch Technology division. SkyTouch Technology, is an independently operated division of Choice Hotels that provides the most widely used cloud-based (SaaS) hotel property management system. As a key member of our SkyTouch Technology division, you will empower our users and internal associates through innovative, data-driven learning experiences that drive customer success, foster loyalty, and establish our team as an industry leader in customer education.

Your Responsibilities 
  • Develop and manage project plans in alignment within timeframes and customer requests
  • Work closely with various SkyTouch and Choice departments to create and enhance the effectiveness of customer learning
  • Work on the creation and revision of eLearning modules and help perform administrative duties for the LMS
  • Review systems release notes to make timely updates to eLearning, training guides, and help guides, as needed
  • Leverage data collection and analysis to inform decision-making and demonstrate the impact of learning experiences
  • Create and revise user materials including facilitator/participant guides, training materials, in-app help guides, internal process documentation, and knowledge articles
  • Create and revise multimedia for training, in-app help, and demo purposes including the design, scripting, and development
  • Coordinate the timely translations for the respective eLearning courses and documentation required for international customers
  • Serve as a backup to other team members to fulfill team responsibilities 

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies 
  • College degree or equivalent experience in Learning Design and Development, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, Instructional Design, or related field
  • Instructional design experience required
  • 2+ years of eLearning development experience preferred
  • Experience utilizing eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, etc.) 
  • Knowledge of Instructional Design systems, methodologies, and adult learning theories preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with design tools/software including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat DC) or similar programs preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Pendo preferred
  • Strong graphic design and creative skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to listen to and respond to customers’ needs
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
  • Ability to present information and conduct meetings
  • Bilingual preferred (ideally Spanish, French, and/or Canadian French)
  • Demonstrates key competencies to include Action Oriented, Cultivates Innovation, and Drives Results.

Your Team 
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Sr. Manager, Customer Learning & Distribution. You will have 1 peer teammate and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
