Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team to develop innovative learning strategies that align with enterprise priorities, improve performance, drive business outcomes, and engage the modern learner. You will collaborate with stakeholders and the learning professionals’ community to understand training opportunities and incorporate best practices into programs that fulfill business and employee needs. 
Major Responsibilities:
  • Supervises team of learning professionals including scope and schedule for team project portfolio.
  • Develop highly engaging and interactive e-Learning courses, videos, simulations and other digital learning assets through all stages of the learning design process including conducting needs analysis, performing research, and conducting pilots as needed.
  • Supports subject matter experts and key stakeholders in the development of learning curriculum and functional development strategy.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design methods, testing approaches, and technologies.
  • Manages utilization of vendors for instructional design activities.
  • Identifies suitable technologies and/or delivery modalities to enhance learning effectiveness and meet business and talent development needs.
  • Creates an engaging learning climate and employs a variety of eLearning techniques, including a discovery learning approach, to increase participation and ensure delivery of learning objectives.
  • Ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and alignment with adult learning principles.
  • Helps to maintain a catalog of current internal and external L&D offerings.
  • Monitor learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve learning solutions.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10  years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, with the ability to influence without authority, negotiate effectively and build trust.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize conflicting demands, manage complexity, and handle multiple deliverables.
  • Strong technical knowledge of eLearning and video development tools including Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, and Synthesia.
  • In-depth understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Proven ability to develop effective, inclusive and efficient learning design solutions and development processes, measure their effectiveness, and continuously improve.
  • Demonstrated success in creating and launching "world-class" learning programs in a global company.
  • Proficiency in adapting programs for global audiences and navigating cultural nuances in content and delivery.
  • Ability to foster a positive culture that encourages creativity, collaboration, teamwork, inclusion, and diversity of thought.
  • Skilled in open and timely communication with direct reports, customers, and colleagues, actively seeking feedback and addressing concerns.
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity, providing positive reinforcement and maintaining high morale while ensuring the team stays focused on core priorities.
