Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our Learning Team full-time. This role is ideal for a creative professional with strong technical skills in eLearning development and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, producing, and maintaining high-quality learning assets for multiple modes including eLearning, ILT, and VILT.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
  • Applies instructional design and adult learning theory to manage the design, development, implementation and maintenance of assigned training programs which may include instructor led, virtual instructor led, and eLearning and blended learning programs.
  • Design and develop engaging eLearning content using Articulate Storyline and Rise 360.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, lead projects, and ensure alignment with learning objectives.
  • Ensure quality for all learning materials to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Manage and maintain team collaboration platforms such as internal and external SharePoint, Teams, and Workday Learning (WDL).
  • Track enrollments and completions in Workday Learning and support LMS administration efforts.
  • Support governance activities and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in instructional design and eLearning development.
  • Proficiency in Articulate tools, Workday Learning, and SharePoint.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and audio/video editing tools.
  • Familiarity with game-based learning and interactive course design.
  • Prior experience in LMS migration and data conversion projects.

Environmental Job Requirements
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 15% of the time.

Nature and Scope
  • Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to create creative and interactive training solutions. Troubleshoots and resolves problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
  • Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the results expected. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
