Instructional Designer Full Description

Overview:
The Instructional Designer will design and develop learning and practicing experiences in order to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner, both for clinical and non-clinical staff. The Instructional Designer will use strong interpersonal, written, and visual communication skills to bring together text, images, video and audio to communicate and educate our leaders and employees. The Instructional Designer will upload, critique, and manage assignments in the electronic learning management system. Responsibilities: Collaborate with content experts to outline the concept for a course or curriculum, defining the course medium, content delivery, assessments, accompanying materials, and complementary learning approaches. Determine training solutions to address performance gaps or opportunities for improved business results, considering cross-functional application. Quickly synthesize and write course content based on input from subject matter experts, written material, previous training courses, interviews, etc. Design quizzes and meaningful course interactions to increase learning and retention. Proof course at multiple stages of development and make or document required changes. Keep up to date on learning tools, trends, and ideas. Create e-learning modules to include content, video, and narration. Create, design, produce, deliver, evaluate, and assign and report on e-learning presentations. Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and engagement. Manage project materials efficiently so that tasks are completed on time, problems are anticipated or resolved quickly, and team members are clear on project requirements and schedules. Publish timelines associated with milestone tasks to ensure planned completion of the project.
